Provoked – Details
The film's score and soundtrack was composed by A. R. Rahman, and the theme song for the film, "Alive", was composed by Rahman and sung by Karen David, who has a small cameo in the film. Shot in London, the film was released in April (Easter Weekend) 2007.According to Karen’s Blog, AR Rahman composed both Alive and Carry me home.. but in AR Rahman’s website only ‘Alive’ is listed!

ReplyDeleteI think shillong has a very strong Rahman sir influence in it for eg. feel, kids saying hey aaja instru. and wordings guy meets girl, girl meets guy similar to aha tamizhamma of Kangala kaidhu sei a,aa,u,uu,ai,o,au,am. and no wonder karen in her blog mentions shillong song not carry me home
ReplyDeleteJust verified again from provoked soundtrack wikipedia the below notes, it is shillong song karen mentions jin her blog which she co wrote along with rahman,I always felt shillong is a far better and complex song in the entire album to be made by karen alone now I am sure
