We Can Make it Better – Behind The Story
November 2005 : The single called, 'We Can Make it Better', by 'Donasian', is due for release on Friday 11th November 2005 from HMV and all Asian music outlets.
Donasian is a charity project put together by, Internalmusic, Realtone Records, and Streetlife Productions. Donasian is a non-profit making organisation.
This single has been produced by 'Mukhtar Sahota', and the string orchestration by 'A R Rahman.'
The single is in 3 languages, English, Hindi and Punjabi, and features 15 Asian artists from different music genres from Eastern and Western continents. The line up represents the very best of contemporary talent and this recording will be a "history in the making."
The charities involved are 'Islamic Relief' and 'Save the Children India', for those affected by the Pakistani Earthquake and the Tsunami affected children.
Donasian will not recoup any costs from this project. All artists have appeared on this project free of any costs. All monies raised from this single will be donated to the charities excluding the 'Distribution' and 'Retail' costs which apply.
